Information we collect

Visituros collects the email address used to sign in, places and lists you save, reviews you submit, activity details, route and precise location data recorded during an activity, and photos you choose to upload. If you report content or block a user, we store that choice and the information you provide with the report so we can investigate abuse and apply your block. We also receive basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, record and display your activities, calculate route statistics, provide saved-place features, maintain the service, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information or use precise location for advertising.

Location and photos

Location is collected while you record an activity, including in the background when you have started recording and granted permission. Recording stops when you end the activity. Photos are accessed only when you select them for upload.

Sharing and retention

Information is shared with infrastructure providers only as needed to host and deliver Visituros. An activity is private by default unless you choose to make it public; public activities and photos await moderation before others can see them. We retain account data while your account is active. An account deletion request starts a 14-day recovery period; signing in during that period cancels the request. After the deadline, account data is permanently deleted except where limited retention is required for security or legal compliance.

Your choices

You can change location and photo permissions in device settings. You can delete individual activities and photos in the app, or delete your account and associated data from Settings. See the account deletion page for details.
