Spray Park Trail

The Spray Park Trail is a stunning hike located in the northwest corner of Mount Rainier National Park. This trail offers hikers a chance to experience the breathtaking beauty of alpine meadows, cascading waterfalls, and panoramic views of Mount Rainier. The trail begins at the Mowich Lake Campground and ascends through lush forests before opening up to the expansive meadows of Spray Park.

Wildflowers: During the summer months, the meadows are blanketed with vibrant wildflowers, making it a photographer's paradise.
Waterfalls: Along the way, hikers can enjoy the sight and sound of several waterfalls, including the impressive Spray Falls.

The trail is well-maintained but can be challenging due to its elevation gain and rocky sections. Hikers should be prepared for changing weather conditions and carry adequate supplies. The best time to visit is from late June to early October when the trail is free of snow and the wildflowers are in full bloom.
